Family Connections fills an important need in the San Mateo & Santa Clara county community for quality preschool and parent education that is 100% accessible to low-income families. Family Connections has had a history of responding to this need with a unique tuition-free school that sets us apart from many similar preschool and parenting organizations in the Bay Area and even in the State. We have reached hundreds children and parents since our beginnings in 1993 and are currently serving 103 families (nearly 300 individuals) at our three classroom locations.

Volunteering
Picture yourself walking into a classroom full of families - parents and their children singing, talking, playing, making art - learning together. This is the community at Family Connections and as one volunteer summed it up after a recent visit: "You can just feel the love in that room".

The volunteer experience at Family Connections is definitely a two way street. The impact our one hundred plus volunteers has on Family Connections is felt in so many ways. Volunteers have allowed us to reach far into the communities of San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties and have helped Family Connections thrive and grow over the past ten years.

Donating Funds
Charitable donations to Family Connections make a positive and profound impact on individuals, families and entire communities. You can put your gift to work today by supporting our organization.

Donating Stock
Donating through stock often provides substantial tax savings for a donor. A donation of appreciated securities can provide tax advantages to the donor and at the same time be a sizeable contribution to Family Connections.

Family Connections has many on-going needs. We are always in need of new art supplies and good quality toys.

Supporting our Fundraisers
Over 100 volunteers organize and help at our three major fundraisers. Because they are volunteer driven, almost every dollar earned goes directly towards supporting our three classroom locations.
